SystemTuna user guide
SystemTuna does three jobs on your Windows PC:
- Wake control stops devices, wake timers and scheduled tasks from waking your computer from sleep. See Wake control.
- Windows Update management makes new updates wait for your approval, so Windows does not restart your computer by surprise. See Windows Update.
- Keep awake stops your computer from going to sleep while you need it, for example while an AI agent finishes a long task. See Keep awake.
The Overview is the first page of SystemTuna. It shows all three at a glance.
How SystemTuna works
SystemTuna installs a small background service, the SystemTuna Service, that makes the changes you choose. It keeps working when you close the SystemTuna window and after Windows restarts. The window itself runs without administrator rights. Your settings and logs stay on your PC, and SystemTuna does not collect personal data.
To undo SystemTuna's changes, select Settings at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Revert changes. It lists the settings SystemTuna can restore.
Requirements
- Windows 10 version 2004 or later, or Windows 11.
- An x64 or ARM64 PC. Each has its own installer on the Download page.
- Administrator rights to install SystemTuna. You do not need them to use it.
