Control when your PC sleeps, wakes and restarts.
No unwanted wake-ups
Devices, wake timers and scheduled tasks can wake a sleeping PC. SystemTuna turns them off and keeps them off, even when Windows turns them back on. Your mouse and keyboard can still wake it.
Docs: Wake controlNo surprise restarts
Windows installs updates by itself and restarts your PC to finish them, even at night. With SystemTuna, new updates wait until you approve them.
Docs: Windows UpdateAwake when you need it
Keep your PC awake past its sleep timeout, for example while an AI agent finishes a long task. Keep awake ends when you turn it off or at a time you choose.

Overview: everything under control
Green means all good. The settings that keep your PC asleep are in place, and updates wait for your approval. Red shows that Keep awake is on.
Overview: right after you install it
This is what most people see first. Windows can restart your PC for updates by itself, and SystemTuna does not stop wake-ups yet. Turn on Manage Windows Update and Do not wake from sleep to change that.
Overview: what can wake your PC
The Advanced view lists the devices, wake timers and tasks that can wake your PC. Amber means something can wake it, and a Fix link turns off just that one thing.
Overview: everything fixed
Wake timers and wake tasks are off, and SystemTuna keeps them off, even when Windows or an app turns them back on. Your mouse and keyboard can still wake your PC.
Keep awake
Keep your PC awake while an AI agent works on a long task, or during a download, backup or presentation. Your screen can still turn off, and Keep awake can turn off by itself when you choose.
Windows Update
New updates wait for your approval before they install, so Windows does not restart your PC by surprise. Download and install each one when it suits you.
Sleep settings
Choose when the screen turns off and when your PC sleeps or hibernates, for each power plan.

FAQ
Before you install
Short answers. The user guide has the details. Anything else? Email support@systemtuna.com.
Is SystemTuna free?
Yes, with every feature. The free version shows a small ad for other DeinitLabs apps, such as NetworkTuna. The ad appears only inside the SystemTuna app, nowhere else on your PC. To remove it, buy SystemTuna with a small one-time payment, or enter a NetworkTuna registration code.
Will my PC still go to sleep?
Yes. SystemTuna stops things from waking your PC, not from sleeping. Only Keep awake stops sleep, and only while it is on.
How do I wake my PC if the mouse and keyboard cannot wake it?
Press the power button. Do not wake from sleep leaves your mouse and keyboard able to wake the PC. Only you can turn that off, on the Wake devices page.
Will Windows still install updates?
Yes. With Windows Update management on, updates still download by themselves, and each one waits for your approval to install. Microsoft Defender updates never need a restart and still install automatically. Turning off wake for the Windows Update tasks does not stop updates either.
Can Windows still restart my PC for updates?
Only to finish an update you approved. SystemTuna does not block that restart, so install updates when a restart suits you. An installation or restart that was already pending when you turned management on is not cancelled.
Does update management work on Windows Home?
Yes, on the Windows versions that provide the update approval feature it uses. Where Windows lacks it, SystemTuna offers the older Windows setting Install updates only when I choose, on Pro, Enterprise and Education.
Does Keep awake keep my screen on?
No. Your screen can still turn off, and you can still put your PC to sleep yourself. Keep awake continues after you close SystemTuna and after Windows restarts.
Can my PC stay awake while an AI agent works?
Yes. Keep awake overrides the sleep timeout of your power plan, so the agent can work without a break, even when the screen turns off. Keep awake can turn off after minutes, hours or days, or at a date and time you pick. On a laptop, choose whether it keeps the PC awake on battery.
Does SystemTuna need administrator rights?
Only to install it. A small background service makes the changes you choose. The SystemTuna window runs without administrator rights.
How do I undo SystemTuna's changes?
In SystemTuna, open Settings and choose Revert changes. It lists the Windows settings SystemTuna can restore.
About
Why SystemTuna exists
My desktop computer kept waking up from sleep. The network adapter and the mouse were to blame, and Windows Update restarted it during the night.
On my laptop, the mouse kept waking it up, and the battery often drained completely. I made SystemTuna to fix this for myself and for everyone with the same problem.
Now I can finally sleep peacefully, knowing my computer will too.
